This glazed gable barn extension creates a fantastic open plan kitchen, dining space and separate snug at ground floor, with a gorgeous vaulted principle bedroom suite above.

Replacing a smaller extension where the kitchen felt very detached from the main barn, a key consideration with the design proposals was to make the link spaces much more generous. This enable the transition from old to new to be an experience in itself with the broad steps descending into the new kitchen space and upstairs, a pause for a view as you enter into the extension before heading down into the new bedroom.
